I put that picture there because my grandpa used to sail on that ship. He also sailed on Arno-Mendi (renamed Monte Naranco after the Spanish war), Monte Urbasa, Monte Umbe and other Sota-Aznar and Aznar vessels. An englishman passed it on to me and he told me it was taken at a wharf on river Thames in London. Anyway you can get more info (and pics) on those ships in English here:

Where was this picture taken? I had a couple of holidays in the early 1970's on the Monte Ulia from Millwall docks to the Canaries and back. Happy memories! Is Ulia still sailing now?
